Sarah Langlotz

Assistant Professor, Chair of Development Economics at University of Göttingen

Sarah Langlotz is an Assistant Professor (Akademische Rätin) at the Chair of Development Economics of Prof. Dr. Andreas Fuchs at the University of Goettingen. Before joining the University of Goettingen, she has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of International and Development Politics in Heidelberg hold by Prof. Dr. Axel Dreher. During her PhD she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of International and Development Politics in Heidelberg and was a visiting researcher at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.  Her main research interests are in Development Economics and Political Economy. While one strand of her research focuses on the economics of conflict and migration, mostly based on household-level and geospatial data, the other strand looks at aid effectiveness, mainly from a macro-level perspective.
