Sarah Walker

Sarah Walker is a development economist in the School of Economics at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. She received her PhD in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2015. Her areas of research include poverty, conflict, the economics of land use, and the interaction between culture and institutions. In addition to her academic research, Sarah has served as a consultant to the World Bank, as well as the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
