Savitar Sundaresan

Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Business at Imperial College London

My academic background started in mathematical philosophy. After a detour into game theory during my master's program, and a stint as a fixed income trader during the financial crisis, I transitioned into economics for my PhD. I became interested in the burgeoning literature on inattention and started to work on dynamic problems in that space. After arriving at a business school, my research has moved into financial applications, such as price efficiency, and the impact of institutional investors on financial markets.
