Seán Kenny is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Department of Economic History, Lund University. His primary field of research is macroeconomic history and to date he has worked on areas such as banking crises, sovereign debt, industrial production and monetary cycles. He has published in the Economic History Review, European Review of Economic History, Explorations in Economic History and Business History Review. He has a PhD in Economic History from Lund University and his dissertation analysed various aspects of monetary and debt cycles in Northern Europe, 1840-2015. He has taught at undergraduate and master level in economic, business and financial history. Prior to joining Lund, he practiced as a financial accountant (CPA) and currently presents the Economic History Podcast.
