Sebastian Dullien is Professor for International Economics at HTW Berlin – University of Applied Sciences and Senior Policy Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations. Prior to his appointment at the university, he worked from 2000 to 2007 at the Financial Times Deutschland, among other positions as an Editor of the World Economy page. He has worked extensively on imbalances and governance reform in the euro area. He has done consultancy work and has been invited as an Expert for public testimonies among others for the German Bundestag, the European Parliament, the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development and the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. He holds a PhD from the Freie Universität Berlin.
