Sebastian Krautheim

Professor of International Economics at University Of Passau

Sebastian Krautheim is professor of International Economics at the University of Passau. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at Goethe University in Frankfurt and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Paris School of Economics. He holds a Ph.D. from the European University Institute and is a CESifo Research Network Fellow. The focus of his research is on international trade and international value chains but also includes work on international tax competition. His research on the globalization backlash introduces elements like (un)ethical production practices, consumer boycotts and advocacy NGOs into the analysis of international trade and global production.
