Sébastien Kraenzlin

Economist at the Money Market and Foreign Exchange Division at Swiss National Bank (SNB)

Sébastien Kraenzlin is an Economist at the Money Market and Foreign Exchange Division of the Swiss National Bank, which he joined in 2007 after receiving his PhD in Economics from the University of Basel. Prior to joining the SNB, Sébastien Kraenzlin worked in the Economic Research Department of Credit Suisse in Zurich. His research interests cover monetary policy, central banking and the functioning of money markets. His recent work focuses on banks’ bidding behaviour in the SNB’s fixed rate tender auction as well as on the network topology of the Swiss franc repo market.
