Sehoon Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance, Insurance and Real Estate at the University of Florida, Warrington College of Business. Prior to joining the University of Florida, he earned his PhD in Finance at The Ohio State University, MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, and Bachelor in Business Administration from Seoul National University. Sehoon conducts research broadly in the areas of corporate finance and financial markets, focusing on issues related to corporate governance, sustainability, competition, and the impact of policies and regulations on corporations. His work has been presented at major conferences around the world, including the AFA, WFA, and EFA annual meetings, and has received several awards and honors, such as the OSU Risk Institute Research Fellowship, MARC Conference Outstanding Paper Award, and EFA Doctoral Tutorial Best Paper Prize.
