Serena Fatica works as a principal economist and project manager at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, having previously served in its Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs. Her research interests span sustainable finance, taxation and applied microeconomics. She received a PhD in Economics from the Catholic University of Leuven.
