Sergio Salgado is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His research is concentrated in the fields of macroeconomic and labor economics. In particular, his current research projects study the impact of microeconomic tail risk on firms’ growth and aim to understand the relationship between firm shocks and workers’ income instability, consumption, and wealth accumulation.
