Sergio Torrejón Pérez

Economic and Policy Analyst, Joint Research Centre at European Commission

Sergio Torrejón Pérez works as an economic and policy analyst in the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. He has a PhD in Sociology by Complutense University, and has been a visiting researcher in Eurofound (Dublin) and the European University Institute of Florence. His main research interests are social stratification, employment, structural change in the labour market and inequality. Before joining the JRC, he worked in the Ministry of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Welfare of Spain and as an analyst in a company specialised in social and market research.
