Sharmin Sazedj is an economist at the Public Finance and Structural Studies Division of the Economics and Research Department of Banco de Portugal. She is also an invited teaching assistant at Nova School of Business and Economics, where she is currently a PhD candidate. She holds a Msc degree in Economics from the same school. Her research interests include labor economics, management practices, public finances and the Portuguese economy.
