Simon Schropp

Simon Schropp is Managing Economist at Sidley Austin LLP, a leading law firm in international trade. Prior to joining Sidley, he briefly worked for the economics division of the WTO. He holds two PhDs, one in International Economics from St. Gallen University and one in International Studies from the Graduate Institute, Geneva. He also holds a Master’s in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from St. Gallen University. Mr. Schropp has authored a number of articles on issues of international economics, international trade policy and competition policy. In 2008, he published a book on legal and economic aspects of breach and remedy clauses in the WTO with Cambridge University Press.
