Simon Wiederhold is Professor of Labour Economics at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and Senior Research Advisor at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). Previously, he was Professor of Economics, especially Macroeconomics, at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. He received his PhD from the University of Jena. His research focuses on labour, education, and behavioral economics.
