Simone Borghesi is Director of the Florence School of Regulation – Climate (FSR Climate) and part-time professor at the EUI, Deputy Rector for International Relations and Professor of Environmental Economics at the University of Siena, Italy. He is President of EAERE (European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists). He is also member of the Economics Advisory Council of the Environmental Defense Fund (New York), and of the Academic Advisory Council of the Center on Regulation and Markets of Brookings Institution (Washington D.C.). He has been President of IAERE (Italian Association of Environmental and Resource Economists) in the period 2018-19.
