Simone Borghesi is Director of the Florence School of Regulation – Climate (FSR Climate), part-time professor at the EUI and Professor of Environmental Economics at the Department of Political and International Sciences, University of Siena, Italy. He is Secretary General of the Policy Outreach Committee of EAERE (European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists). He is also member of CEPR-RPN (Center for Economic Policy and Research – Research and Policy Network), member of the Academic Advisory Council of the Center on Regulation and Markets of Brookings Institution and Co-director of the research group R4S (Regulation for Sustainability) at the University of Siena. He has been President of IAERE (Italian Association of Environmental and Resource Economists) in the period 2018-19.
