Sonia Kang

Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, University of Toronto Mississauga at University Of Toronto

Sonia Kang is Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management in the Department of Management at the University of Toronto Mississauga, and holds a cross-appointment to the Rotman School of Management. She is a Faculty Research Fellow at the Rotman Institute for Gender and the Economy (GATE), and Chief Scientist in the Behavioral Economics in Action at Rotman (BEAR) research centre. Sonia holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Experimental Social Psychology from the University of Toronto and completed a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology at the University of Alberta. Sonia’s research explores the challenges and opportunities of diversity, including strategies for mitigating the far-reaching effects of stigma and harnessing the power of diversity for individuals, organizations, and society.
