Sotiris Blanas

Research Economist-Microeconometrician at National Bank Of Belgium

Sotiris Blanas is a Research Economist-Microeconometrician in the Economics and Research Department at the National Bank of Belgium. He was awarded the Ph.D. in Economics from the Université catholique de Louvain in 2016. He is specialised in International Trade, FDI, and Technological change. In particular, his research has focused on international trade, FDI and labour outcomes, on technological change and labour outcomes, on the determinants of flows of tangible goods and knowledge within multinational firm boundaries, and more recently, on prices.
