Stefan Thewissen

Economist at Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD)

Stefan Twewissen is an economist at the Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. His main areas of interest are labour economics, social protection and health policies, and political economy. Prior to joining the OECD, he was a Research Fellow at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), and a postdoctoral researcher at Nuffield College at the University of Oxford. He has been a visiting scholar at Oxford, Harvard, and the World Bank Development Research Group, and has consulted for the OECD, World Bank, and the Global Fund. He holds a PhD in Economics from Leiden University.
