Suguru TAMURA (Dr.) (
[email protected]) has been a Senior Fellow of RIETI since 2012. He joined the Japanese government’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and has worked at the Industrial Science and Technology Policy and Environment Bureau, and at the Council for Science and Technology Policy, Cabinet Office. His research and educational interest is innovation policy. He was an associate professor and visiting professor at the Waseda University (Tokyo) and a visiting researcher at the University of Tokyo. He serves as a visiting lecturer at the University of Tokyo and the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. His studies have appeared in various publications including Computer Standards & Interfaces, Technovation, Science and Public Policy, and Journal of the American Ceramic Society. He has presented his research results in academic conferences including Academy of Management conference.
