Svend E. Hougaard Jensen is Professor of Economics at Copenhagen Business School, Director of the Pension Research Centre (PeRCent), and Non-Resident Fellow at Bruegel. He holds an MSc (Econ) degree (University of Aarhus), an MA (Econ) degree (University of Manchester) and a PhD (Econ) degree (London Business School). His research focuses on topics such as generational and macroeconomic effects of changing demographics, public and private pensions, fiscal policy in the EU, sustainability and management of public debt, financial stability, structural reforms; and macroeconomic policy in general.
