Sylwia Bialek is an economist working at the German Council of Economic Experts and an affiliated scholar at the Institute for Policy Integrity, New York University. She holds a PhD in Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt. Her research focuses on energy markets design and welfare evaluations of environmental regulations. Sylwia also teaches environmental economics at Goethe University Frankfurt.
