Szilárd Erhart is a Researcher at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Ispra, Italy. His academic interest lies in applied environmental economics and in conceptualizing practical methods and standards to assess the environmental impacts from economic activities. He is involved in developing Composite Indicators and Dashboards in the Joint Research Centre and acts as a representative in the Platform on Sustainable Finance of the European Commission. He has spent his earlier career years in central banks and financial institutions. He studied in the Budapest University of Economics, in the Kiel Institute and in the Central European University.
