Tadgh Hegarty has been an Occasional Lecturer at University College Dublin since 2021. Previously, he worked as a Researcher in the further education and training sector across a number of different public research institutions. He also has over 20 years experience as an on-course bookmaker. Hence, his research is mainly focused on the economics of betting markets. He holds a PhD in Economics (doctoral graduand) from University College Dublin.
