Takaaki Nomoto

Takaaki Nomoto is an Economist at the Office of Regional Economic Integration of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). His research interests are in macroeconomics, finance, demography and development. In ADB, he contributes to research, policy consultations with authorities of developing countries and capacity development for them, particularly, in areas of regional economic integration, macroeconomics, finance, and labor mobility. Prior to joining the ADB in 2011, he served in various positions in the Ministry of Finance of Japan and contributed to policy formulations and implementations in areas from national budget planning, taxation, development aid, to international finance. He holds undergraduate degree in Law from University of Tokyo, postgraduate degree in Economics from University College London and that in Economic History from London School of Economics and Political Science.
