Tangjun Yuan

Tangjun Yuan is Associate Professor at the Institute of Economic Research, Hitotsubashi University. His areas of expertise include international economics and development economics and his primary research interests cover economic development of Asian countries with an emphasis on China. With regard to the Chinese economy, Yuan has conducted econometric analysis of efficiency in sectoral resource allocation affected by its policy changes, and empirical analyses of profitability and productivity of firms using financial data on Chinese firms. He has published articles in several journals, including the Review of Income and Wealth and Explorations in Economic History. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Hitotsubashi University.
