Discussion paper
Tarik Roukny is an Assistant Professor of Finance at KU Leuven. His research focuses on the interactions between finance, technology and public policy. In the past, Tarik was a visiting researcher at the National Bank of Belgium, the European Systemic Risk Board, the European Central Bank, the Deutsche Bundesbank and De Nederlandsche Bank. He was also post-doctoral research associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Media Lab) and a visiting scholar at the University of Stanford (Economics), the University of Oxford (Said Business School) and the University of Cambridge (Isaac Newton Institute). Tarik has a background in Engineering, Computer Science and Finance from the University of Brussels – École Polytechnique (B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D.).
