Thibaut Duprey is a Senior Analyst in the Financial Stability Department of Bank of Canada. Before joining the bank, he was an Economist in the Macro-Finance Division of the Banque de France and also gained experience at the European Central Bank. Thibaut holds a double degree in Law and Economics (B.Sc. and LL.B.) from Lorraine University, a master degree in Public Policy Analysis from the Paris School of Economics and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Paris School of Economics. His main interests include macro-financial linkages, banking theory, systemic risks, financial crises, and the associated prudential policies.
