Thomas Nitschka

Monetary Policy Analysis Unit at Swiss National Bank (SNB)

Thomas Nitschka studied business administration and economics at the University of Dortmund where he also obtained a doctoral degree in economics. Thomas moved to the University of Zurich in September 2006 where he worked as Post-doctoral Researcher at the Chair of International Trade and Finance. In May 2009, he started at the Financial Stability Unit of the SNB before joining the Monetary Policy Analysis Unit in August 2011.
