Tilman Bletzinger is a Senior Economist at the European Central Bank, working in the Capital Markets & Financial Structure Division of the Directorate General Monetary Policy. He received his PhD from Goethe University Frankfurt with essays on monetary policy in the euro area. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate studies at Maastricht University and University of California, Los Angeles. Tilman mainly contributes to preparing and analysing the ECB’s monetary policy measures and has published academic articles in the fields of monetary policy and macro-finance.
