Discussion paper
Timm Boenke is assistant professor of public economics at the School of Business and Economics at Freie Universität Berlin. His research interests revolve mainly around inequality and the distribution of income and wealth, the inclusiveness of growth, the design and incentives of state welfare institutions, and redistribution and insurance through tax-benefit systems. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Income Distribution, board member of the Research Institute Economics of Inequality at Vienna University of Economics and Business and consultant for the World Bank. Timm holds a masters and a PhD in economics from Freie Universität Berlin.
