Tjalle Aarden

Deputy Head, European Affairs Division at Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment

Tjalle Aarden is the Deputy Head of the European Affairs Division for the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. He studied International Economics at the Radboud University Nijmegen. From 2009 to 2018, he worked for the Dutch Ministry of Finance for the Financial Markets Directorate and Foreign Financial Affairs Directorate. As Coordinating Policy Advisor for the European Affairs Division, he worked on topics such as the future of the Economic and Monetary Union and the Stability and Growth Pact.
