Toan Phan is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. After growing up in Vietnam, he received a bachelor's degree from Bucknell University in 2006 and a PhD from Northwestern University in 2012. His research interests lie in the areas of Macroeconomics, International Macroeconomics (with special focus on sovereign debt and asset bubbles) and Climate Change (with special focus on its impacts on economic growth).
