Tobias Krahnke is an Economist at the Strategy, Policy and Review Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Prior to that, he served as Economist in the International Policy Analysis Division of the European Central Bank (ECB) and as a Senior Advisor to the German Executive Director at the IMF. He has also worked as an Economist in the International Monetary Affairs Division at the Deutsche Bundesbank. Tobias holds a PhD from Goethe University Frankfurt. His research interests include international macroeconomics and finance, political economy of international organizations, and inequality.
