Tomoya Mori

Professor, Institute of Economic Research at Kyoto University

Tomoya Mori is a professor at the Institute of Economic Research, Kyoto University and a faculty fellow at the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI). He also is serving concurrently as a visiting professor at the Center for Spatial Information Service, University of Tokyo. He has worked at Kyoto University since 1996, starting as an associate professor. He earned his Ph.D. in Regional Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996.His research specialization is in spatial economics and urban and regional economics. He has published numerous papers in academic journals, including Review of Economics and Statistics, European Economic Review, and Journal of Urban Economics, and has refereed for many publications. He is a member of the Urban Economics Association, Applied Regional Science Conference, Japanese Economic Association, and Regional Science Association International.
