Torben Schubert

Torben Schubert is Associate Professor at CIRCLE, Lund University in Sweden and Senior Researcher at Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Germany. Between October 2000 and February 2005, he studied economics with focus on statistics, econometrics, and dynamic macroeconomics at Cologne University. Between May 2005 and November 2007 he was doctoral student at the Fraunhofer ISI. Since July 2011 Torben Schubert is Assistant Professor and since September 2013 Associate Professor at CIRCLE. His research interests comprise the strategic management of innovation processes, innovation economics, economics and performance measurement in science as well as applications of microeconometric methods. Torben Schubert published his works in leading journals in management and innovation. He is also author of numerous policy-reports on topics in innovation. He has also acted as advisor in innovation policy for the German parliament as well as the German Social Democratic Party.
