Tuomas Tomunen is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Boston College Carroll School of Management. His primary research interests are asset pricing, insurance markets, and climate finance. His work has been published in academic journals such as The Review of Asset Pricing Studies and Critical Finance Review, and has been covered in popular media outlets such as Bloomberg and The Washington Post. He has received a number of awards including The Best Paper Award for papers published in The Review of Asset Pricing Studies and the Jack Treynor prize. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Finance from Aalto University, Finland.
