Ulrich Hege is Professor of Economics at Toulouse School of Economics where he has also acted as Director and Vice-President. Previously, he has held positions at HEC Paris, Tilburg University and ESSEC Business School. He was also a Visiting Professor at London Business School and New York University. He holds a PhD from Princeton University and a master’s degree from the University of Frankfurt. His main research interests are in corporate finance and financial intermediation, on topics including debt restructuring and bankruptcy, acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and corporate governance.
