Valentin Lang is Assistant Professor of International Political Economy and Development at the University of Mannheim. The focus of his research is on political economy, development, and the role of international organizations in global economic governance. His previous positions were at the universities of Zurich, Cambridge, Heidelberg, Mannheim, and Paris. Outside academia, he worked as a consultant, amongst others, for the OECD and the IMF.
