Valentina Rollo

Economist at International Trade Centre

Valentina Rollo is an Economist in the Office of the Chief Economist at the International Trade Centre (ITC). Previous to joining the ITC she worked for the World Bank, the ILO, the UNCTAD, the OECD, and the European Commission. She has published articles in peer reviewed journals (World Development and the World Bank Economic Review). Valentina completed her PhD in International Economics at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva. Her research includes work on international trade in developing countries, SME Competitiveness, and the role of the internet in favouring inclusive innovation. She holds a Master in European Economics from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, and a Master in International Economics from the IHEID in Geneva.
