Verena Plümpe is a PhD student in the Department of Structural Change and Productivity at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). She received a MSc in Economics from the University of Leipzig and a BSc in Economics from the Humboldt University of Berlin. Her research interests include automation, firm productivity and labour markets.
