Vincenzo Carrieri is Associate Professor of Public Economics at the "Magna Graecia" University of Catanzaro and has been awarded the National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor in Economic Policy and Public Economics. He is also Research Fellow at IZA (Institute of Labor Economics) and at RWI-Research Network and affiliated at the Health, Econometrics and Data Group (HEDG) of the University of York. He received his PhD from the University of Calabria and a PhD specialization in Health Economics and Policy from the Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+). His main research interests are in the fields of health economics and policy evaluation with a particular focus on the economics of risky behaviours and socio-economic status related health inequalities. On these topics, he published papers in the European Economic Review, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Health Economics, Health Economics and Economics Letters, among others.
