Vincenzo Denicolò is a Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna and at the University of Leicester (currently on leave) and a Research Fellow at CEPR. He works mainly in the field of industrial organisation and in particular on the economics of innovation and competition policy. He also works on endogenous growth theory and maintains an interest in the theory of social choice, a field in which he published extensively in the past. He has published more than fifty articles in refereed journals, including the American Economic Review and the Quarterly Journal of Economics. He is a Co-editor of the Journal of Economics and Management Strategy and a member of the editorial panel of Economic Policy. He has been involved in policy consulting, in particular on issues that lie at the intersection between intellectual property and antitrust. Currently he is a member of the Economic Advisory Board for Competition Policy at the European Commission.
