Vincenzo Scoppa

Professor of Economics at University of Calabria

Vincenzo Scoppa is currently full professor of Economics at the Department of Economics, Statistics and Finance, University of Calabria (Italy). He has previously served as a senior economist at the Italian Prime Minister’s Office, Rome. Since 2000 he has been assistant professor and then associate professor at the University of Calabria. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Siena and a Master in Economics from Coripe (Piemonte), University of Turin. He has published, among others, in the Journal of Labor Economics, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, European Economic Review, Economic Inquiry, Public Choice, Journal of Human Capital. His main areas of research are in labour economics, education economics, policy evaluations, politics, and economics of sports.
