Vladimir Asriyan is ICREA Research Professor at Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional (CREI), an Adjunct Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and an Affiliated Professor at Barcelona School of Economics.
His research interests are at the intersection of macroeconomics and finance, with a special focus on understanding the origins of financial crises and optimal corrective policy to deal with them. Dr. Asriyan received a PhD in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from the University of California at San Diego.
