Vladimir Otrachshenko is a Senior Researcher at the Center for International Development and Environmental Research (ZEU), Justus Liebig University Giessen and a Research Fellow at Ural Federal University and Far Eastern Federal University. Previously, he worked as a Research Fellow at Nova School of Business and Economics and at the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics. His research interests include environmental and resource economics, climate change, health and population economics, quality of life, and tourism. His research has been published in such journals as Economic Inquiry, Environmental and Resource Economics, Ecological Economics, Land Economics, and European Journal of Political Economy.
