Wenlang Zhang is a Senior Manager in the Research Department of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bielefeld in Germany and has been working mainly in the area of empirical macroeconomics. He has published on issues related to macroeconomic policies and Mainland China in a few journals, including Macroeconomic Dynamics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and Journal of Macroeconomics.
