William C. Boning

William C. Boning is a PhD candidate at the University of Michigan studying public finance and labor economics. His work focuses on enforcement of individual and business taxes, including the effects of income and payroll tax withholding, network effects of enforcement, and the role of tax havens. He was awarded a Graduate Research Fellowship by the National Science Foundation. Before starting his PhD he earned an AB in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College.
