William Mullins is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Rady School of Management, UC San Diego. His research is in finance and in behavioral economics, focusing on how politics and social media affect markets and households. His work has been published in the top three finance journals and in AER: Insights, among others. He has a PhD from MIT; pre-PhD he worked as an advisor to Chile's Minister of Finance (he is from Chile).
