Xi Li

Dr. Xi Li is a Lecturer in Finance at ICMA Centre, University of Reading. Prior to her current position, she was a Lecturer at Newcastle University Business School. Xi Li holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Durham University, an MSc in Financial Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Economics from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. Her research interests cover a wide range of topics, such as mergers and acquisitions, fintech innovation, and blockchain technology. Xi has articles published and under review in prestigious journals, including Quantitative Finance, The British Accounting Review, and Management Science. Throughout her academic career, she has participated in numerous research projects funded by the National Social Sciences Foundation of China and the Ministry of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences. Her work has been presented at various international conferences, earning several best paper awards and garnering attention and recognition within the industry.
