Xin Xu is a Health Economist at the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He also holds a Visiting Research Associate position at the Health Policy Center, University of Illinois at Chicago. He has extensive experience in health policy evaluation, economic research design, economic modeling, complicated data analysis, and multidisciplinary team work. His research mainly focuses on the effects of policies and other influences on cigarette smoking, alcohol abuse, obesity, physical activity and contraceptive use among youth.
